Chemistry Creations (K-8th)

Who didn't grow up absolutely LOVING chemistry and all that comes with it? Each week, kiddos will use a science experiments, to really get an understanding on how chemical reactions work.

 

Debate Club (3rd-8th)

Students will select debate topics they find appealing, and learn the art of persuasion. Students will work in rotating groups and practice their debating skills in a supportive environment, including developing arguments, issuing rebuttals, providing examples, rebuilding their case and summarizing points of view. Students will learn to think on their feet and enhance their public speaking skills, gaining self-confidence in the process.

Note: This club is structured as 3 independent and different modules to be offered year-round (preferred) or individually in the fall, winter or spring.

 

Poppin Piano (K-8th)

Students will participate in a music group. Students will learn about the instrument as well as how to play in a music group.   

FREE Rental instrument and curriculum included!  Instruments and music are intended for in class AND at home practice.  Rental Instrument must be returned at the last class.


WEDNESDAYS

Fall Workout (K-8th)

Athletes and fun seekers - come join us as we work hard and learn about staying in shape. During each class, we will warm up and transition to a workout, learning about different muscle groups and exercises to improve both strength and endurance. Along with agility and body weight exercises, we will spend time jumping rope and playing other PE games that incorporate fitness, such as Capture the Flag (a fan favorite). It should be a fun way to spend some energy and to learn how to establish healthy fitness habits!

 

Chess (K-8th)

Learn chess with Magnus Academy (formerly Silver Knights), world champion Magnus Carlsen’s academy!  We’ve taught 100,000 children to play including state and national champions, but most students are beginners looking to learn a new skill and have FUN. Class time is divided between lessons and practice games.  Lessons range from the basic rules to advanced tournament strategies.

 

Students will have the opportunity to play in tournaments (in-person and online) outside of club time.  This in-person club includes free online extras including weekly practice tournaments and an event with world champion Magnus Carlsen or Judit Polgar, the best female chess player of all time.  All chess supplies provided. Fall Global Flavors: A World of Fall Delights (K-5th)

Your kids will have a blast cooking up and devouring our exciting, tasty, and healthy recipes. Our interactive classes incorporate S.T.E.A.M., culture, language, and more, led by our experienced Chef Instructors. Allergies are always accommodated and our plant-forward recipes are nut-free. Explore our lineup of ever changing weekly recipes and join us to WHIP up some culinary fun all year! Our cooking classes are perfect for all ages!

STEM Adventures (K-8th)

Embark on an exhilarating journey into the diverse world of STEM with our STEM Adventures program! In each course, students will delve into various aspects of STEM, exploring topics such as robotics, chemistry, coding, and even game design!

 

Our hands-on approach includes interactive experiments such as creating potions and crafting slime, as well as problem-solving activities like developing robotic contraptions! With an immersive and entertaining curriculum, your child will develop essential skills, nurture their curiosity, and uncover the endless possibilities that STEM has to offer. Don't miss out on this exciting adventure!

 

Abrakadoodle in 3D (K-8th)

Learn to sculpt using wire, wood, clay, aluminum, plastic, string and/or paper. We'll mold, bend, twist, stretch and balance while we design each three-dimensional creation. Learn about a variety of amazing artists while creating eight 3D artworks that are dynamic, creative and fun!

 

Money Math (K-5th)

Designed for our youngest students, this innovative foundation on financial literacy also serves as a practical math environment where students learn and reinforce computational skills, while developing a mindset for healthy financial habits. From playing money math games to learning about budgeting through engaging activities, students will have fun while they enhance their math skills!
